ABOUT THIS BLOG

Have you ever noticed how there’s just so much cute in the world? I always notice – products, prints, patterns, palettes, silhouettes, trends, type, textiles and the list goes on! I couldn’t just keep it to myself, so I started crafting as a way to share all the amazing inspiration I find in the world around me. The Dirty Laundry blog is where I document my hand-crafted goods and inspiration. I hope you enjoy your visit!

a Valentine world tour

Saturday I went out to four local Kansas City Valentine events at cute little shops.

My 1st stop was Curious Sofa's Valentine Art Show.

There were so many quaint antique finds! My fav is the fourth image of cut paper and hand lettering art by my co-worker Madeline Tompkins. If you need to feel like a Marie Antoinette girly girl you should definitely go to Curious Sofa.

Then I went to Urban Mining Homewares to check out some antique finds.

They are only open the first Friday weekend of each month, so it's a treat when I catch them open.

Right around the way is Bon Bon Atelier where my cupcake bath fizzies are sold.
The girls were having a Vintage Valentine Extravaganza. There were some many lovely pretties to look at!

My last stop was Good Juju.

Between Urban Mining Housewares and Good Juju I was overloaded on antiques for your home. Where do they find all of that good old stuff?!?

I have more photos that you can look at on my Flickr. I also ran into a French inspired restroom along the way!

Nice photo montage of some of our local stores. Thanks for sharing.

No problem! I just snapped away with my camera (trying not to look like a weirdo).

Thanks for the mention! Your pictures are lovely (and you're not the only weird-o walking around with her camera... and we prefer it that way!)
