Canadian chip surprise
This afternoon I received a very special package in the mail. Canadian potato chips!!!

Antonia, my partner from the Worldwide Pin Cushion Swap, kindly sent me some chips to try!
I must admit that as I'm blogging this the chips have already been eaten. These photos are the only evidence that they were in my possession :O
The Ruffles Assaisonnees ones were my favorite. Kind of a vegie chip taste with a hint of vinegar, but reminded me of Ruffles cheddar chips.

The Lays Ketcup chips were the most fun. They had a strong ketchup smell and this CRAZY purple-red color (the photo doesn't show how strange it was). They had a more sophisticated taste than plain 'ole ketchup. A little twang to it. Those were my Shaun's favorite.
They both were delicious! We LOVE chips!!!
Thanks Antonia!

I know this comment is kind of late but I just discovered your blog!
As a ketchup chip loving Canadian gal I must let you know that Lay's ketchup chips are not how you should judge ketchup chips.
Old Dutch Ketchup Chips are much better and I will most definitely send you some if you wanna give ketchup chips another try ;)
What?!? There are more ketchup chips?!? Bring 'em on!
