The Dirty Laundry blog is my place to put my daily delights and inspiration. Not only do I want to share my cupcake bath fizzie creations -- I like to share my findings. Trend researching is my passion and I scour the Internet to find the best inspiration for all of your crafty, gift-giving, fashion, lifestyle and plain old "I just gotta have it" needs. I hope you enjoy your visit!

craft challenge

I've been asked to participate in INK magazine's first ever craft challenge!

Me and three other local Kansas City designers have been given the same grab bag of everyday materials to make a crafty gift. We must use any or all items and we can add items of our own.

This is what we got.

1. coffee carrier
2. garland of fake flowers
3. men's tie
4. wire hanger
5. plastic table cloth
6. nylons
7. sponges
8. album cover + record (mine is Barry Manilow)
9. toothbrush
10. little container that the shower caps came in
11. VHS case + tape
12. two shower caps

Gosh! What am I going to make?!?

The results of the challenge will appear in the June 16th issue of INK. Wish me luck!
