MAKING FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS
Late July I did THE DIRTY post on friendship bracelets. My goal was to use the inspiration make three bracelets to give to three friends that really helped me out with Dirty Laundry.
So... I went out and got some supplies to make three different bracelets to match their personalities. I wanted a modern take on the old school braided embroidery thread friendship bracelets. Chunky metals paired with different materials makes it chic and not juvenile.

I was able to snag three silver link bracelets from Forever 21 for around $6 each. And I got three different materials the make the braid for each friendship bracelet.

For this bracelet I used embroidery floss.

For this bracelet I used a leather ribbon.
I was going to use the turquoise and black beads for the 3rd bracelet. But the thread I got for it was too thick. So I went back to the craft shop to get my original selection.

Turquoise ruffles!

Each gal loved their bracelets. It was just a small token of my appreciation to them for ALL of their help and support.
Here are more friendship bracelet inspiration, in addition to my previous friendship bracelet post.

Loving this whole Etsy shop!

At the Chicago Renegade Craft Fair they had a free friendship bracelet making table.

What a coincidence!

Friendship bracelets are definitely the trend this year
and a quick, cute and thoughtful gift to give.
