DIY - glitter dipped flower vase

Anything dipped in glitter AND gold is a plus for me. Adding glitter to anything makes an ordinary object sparkle and shine!

I was inspired by this gold glitter dipped mason jar to try my hand at making my own.

I thrifted some tall skinny bottles from a local shop. I purchased some Martha Stewart glitter paint to paint directly on to the glass. And I also bought some gold glitter to apply with spray mount.

I wanted to see which method worked best.

I masked off the area I wanted to paint with painter's tape.

The Martha Stewart glitter paint wasn't giving me good coverage. Maybe if I used gold spray paint 1st and then used the glitter paint would have looked better.

I went outside and sprayed the area I wanted to glitter with spray mount. Then I sprinkled on the glitter. I added a second coat for good measure.

Let it dry, peal off the tape and you're all done!
