West 18th Street Fashion Show recap

Saturday, June 9th was the 9th annual West 18th Fashion Show to showcase local Kansas City fashion designers. Put on by Birdies Panties, this was my 3rd year sponsoring the show with my cupcake bath fizzies.

This year's theme was the derby with the show titled Triple Crown Summer. So I hand poured some shea horseshoe soaps to top the cupcake bath fizzies. They turned out SO CUTE!

The show has seats for sale and free standing room. The announcers came out in a horse suit! I can't believe that lovely redhead was the butt of the horse and still looked flawless!

It's always a challenge getting good photos at the show because it starts at 8p and it's dark when it's over. But I loved the ladies in front of me that had their derby hats on. And the biggest treat of the show were the sexy men from Method wearing classy jockey gear with cigars and leather whips. Oooh-wee!

I'm so sad that this will be the last show that I'll see since we're moving to Miami in August. But I still lan on being a sponsor. I wonder what next sumer's theme is going to be!
