Julep Maven review

I'm a little behind on trying out all of my Julep Maven nail polishes. So here is the 411!

In the August box I received:
Alfre, royal metropolitan purple metallic.

• Felicity, yellow-gold metallic chrome.

• Julep Acetone-Free Conditioning Nail Polish Remover
with a professional pump-action bottle for easy, one-handed use.

I'm loving the purple and gray metallic of the Alfre polish. What a great transitional color into autumn. I'm about to try it on my toes soon!

So far I've tried out Felicity, yellow-gold metallic chrome. At first, I thought it was too light and it blended in with my skin tone. But after a day or so, I began to like how subtle it was yet metallic like. Unfortunately it's not available on the Julep Maven site.

Another thing that isn't available on the Julep Maven site is the Julep Acetone-Free Conditioning Nail Polish Remover. I LUV it! I never used a nail polish remover that smell so wonderful and leaves my nails with a sheen, and not dry, after use.

See, when you become a Julep Maven you receive exclusive products!

I also received my September box.

In the September box I received Trina Turk inspired polishes:
• Brandt, opaque off-black crème.
• Sophie, chic truffle mushroom crème.
• Julep American Beauty Volumizing Mascara, jet black.
Lash growth enhancement ingredients and micro-fiber applicator separates, conditions, and plumps individual lashes for a thick and gorgeous finish.

I haven't had a chance to try the polishes. But I've already tried out the mascara! The wand is very thin and light which is great for getting those bottom lashes. I'm used to a bigger wand. But after layering I can achieve voluminous lashes.

All of the September products are exclusive to the Julep Maven subscription boxes. Why? Because we get first dibs on stuff! If you'd like $5.00 off your 1st Julep Maven box click here and use promo code WELCOMEMV5 at checkout!
