My photo diary 3/11 - 3/17.

Last week was all about seeing new things here in Miami and seeing things with a fresh pair of eyes. Noticing a pattern in car wash soap suds and a darlng mommy parking spot.

My husband and I also made an impromptu visit to BurgerFi®. It's a natural burger, dog, fri and beer spot with frozen custard and cupcakes! We both had the VegeFi Burger® (520 Cal). A crisp quinoa burger, white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi® sauce served on multigrain bun, alng with some onion rings and fries. It was DE-LICIOUS!

these vegan products make the cut

Recently one of my friends told me about Vegan Cuts, a vegan online shop and snack box subscription service. I was so excited to see not only vegan food, but vegan body care products, everyday household items and clothing all in one place.

Vegan Cuts is ran by a vegan couple, John and Jill. And Jill was so kind to send out a snack box for my husband and I to test out!

Here is our Vegan Cuts snack box with LOTS of goodies!

We wanted to try everything right away, but I had to take photos first!

My husband and I are major chip-aholics. So we were happy to see TWO chips in our Vegan Cuts snack box. The Dang Foods coconut chips were simply amazing! Sweet, crispy and addicting. They can be eatern alone, or put on things like yogurt. The Simply 7 lentil chips had a light taste. The chip was thick and sturdy. Ideal for scooping up some hummus! We wish we would of gotten the pomengranate chips to try!

We thought the Ticolino swizzle stick tea was super cool innovative way to brew a cup of tea. You heat up your water, then place the tea stick in the cup. Pour the water in the cup and allow to steep 2-3 minutes. We were given 3 flavors to try. I didn't have to add sugar to my jasmine green tea. Ticolino sells coffee sticks too!

The Surf Sweets gummies were super sweet and flavorful. So hard to believe that they are organic and all natural! I think kids would really like them. My husband liked the Righteously Raw 82% raw cacao mint bar. It was way too strong of a chocolate taste for me. So I had the Sjaak's Heart of Cherry all to myself. OMG, it was was so creamy and good with a hint of cherry flavor!

Unfortunately my husband ate the Pure Fit bar and the Budi Bar and he didn't share with me. He said they were both so good that he couldn't help himself to eat it all. He said that the Pure Fit tasted like a power fitness bar without the artificial flavors and after taste. And he said that the Budi Bar had the texture like a brownie, great for breakfast with a coffee.

 

I was SO excited to receive a lip balm in my Vegan Cuts snack box! I'm a lip balm-aholic and I was in need of a new lip balm. I just love having the The Merry Hempsters vegan peppermint hemp balm in my purse. Very minty, smooth and mositurizing on my lips.

I think the Vegan Cuts snack box was fabulous! Monday, March 18th is the LAST DAY to order the March box for 3/25 shipment. It's so fun to try new goodies. It would be an awesome gift to send someone too.

60 - THE DIRTY

I haven't done my weekly THE DIRTY post since July! I must admit, since we moved to Miami in August it was difficult to keep on top of my daily inspiration. Therefore, I didn't have any fun, new, delightful and inspirational things to share with you. Now that I'm getting my grove back I'm happy to present my 60th THE DIRTY post!

Black and white is THE biggest trend for Spring 2013. It's classic and will never go out of style. However, the 2013 twist is, minimal, graphic and bold.

1. Bono Mugs - These Stockholm mugs are are a perfect pairing of simple black and white.

2. Bear, Panda & Bunny Girls - This photo is so fun! Simple black & white graphics include polka dots and stripes,

3. Black & White + Neon - The window pane is a black & white bold graphic that is popular for spring 2013. Paired with last summer's neon gives a fashionable offbeat surprise. I just LOVE that a line skit!

4. Dotties Toffee - I love this new packaging design. Nostalgic and contemporary at the same time.

5. Tribal Print Midcentury Daybed - Tribal prints are another spring trend. This bold print mixed with Black & white is fresh and polished.

kiss & tell: Sephora review

I had totally forgotten that I won a $25 Sephora gift card from the Socialbliss.com Emmy fashion Twitter party back in September. The gift card came just in time too. I really needed some new lipstick!

I love that Sephora carries all of THE brands. But I like to shop the Sephora Collection line. I ended up purchasing:

• SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Cream Lip Stain, 07 Dark Berry: $12
• SEPHORA COLLECTION Glossy Gloss, 28 Sangria: $10

I like to wear the Glossy Gloss alone for a casual look. And the Cream Lip Stain has full coverage that's not dry. It's a lovely matte. And the application wand allows for a great lip line without having to use a lip liner.

But my favorite look is to combine the two. First the Cream Lip Stain then the Glossy Gloss for some poppin' lips!

The Sephora lip products are great (especially with a price tag of $22 for BOTH!).

My photo diary 3/5 - 3/10.

Last week my husband and I tried out a Vegan Cuts Snack Box. Everything was delicious! Look out for a review on my blog soon.

I've been working away at cupcake bath fizzies for the UK and wedding showers. The ones Instagrammed are AKA sorority fizzies. Their colors are pink and green, so I added green glitter on pink cupcakes!

I got a little teary eyed when I ran into some of my last Hallmark Card designs at my local supermarket. I had to buy them for my portfolio because they were my favorite designs.

BTW... did you catch my recipe for the Spring Fever Bunny Trail Mix?

Saturday I took a break from my billion-and-one things that I had to do and my husband and I took a walk to Lincoln Rd. It still amazes me that we live in Miami and it's so beautiful. That we can just take a walk outside at any time of the year! We ended up doing a little window and candy shopping and stopping for lunch. It was a great reminder to stop, take a break, and spend time with the person(s) your love.
