100 - gray is great

Oh my. This is my 100th gray is great post! WOW. And I still love gray now more than ever!

I adore the LEIF shop. I blogged about them twice here on Dirty Laundry. I hadn't visited the shop in awhile. However, LEIF had just as much eye candy to see since the last time that I visited. Now, for round three with LEIF's great grays!

HAPPY DAYLIGHT SAVINGS DAY.
I hate to loose an hour. But it's worth it to gain more sunlight, right!

playing model

I've been working at Art Gallery Fabrics for one month as a graphic designer and I'm already wearing the hat of model in the video and photo shoot of the AGF In-House Studio fabric line, Urban Mod.

As you can see, my gray wardrobe coordinated very well with the line!

It was a blast to help build the set, get fitted for outfits and shoot the video. Four wardrobe changes!

As you can see Art Gallery Fabrics is filled with crafty fun and gorgeous fabrics. I LOVE working there. I think I might be getting the apron sewing bug again!

Check out the Art Gallery Fabrics blog for lots of sewing inspiration. There you'll find links for other social media. And if you follow Art Gallery fabrics on Instagram, most likely I've posted the photo :)

spotted at Target

Us graphic designers have a font spotting disease. Although our computers are loaded with an unthinkable amount of fonts, we still have this ability to name a font any where, any time. So, during a trip to Target I noticed that I owned a font in the Target Easter promo!

The font is called Lavanderia, and you can get it, for free, here.

You can see that the font has been used as is, besides closing the loop in the "t."

I think Lavanderia is super pretty. What will you use it for?

53 - photo diary

My photo diary 2/25 - 3/4.

It's been in the low 50s some mornings here in Miami, but I'm not complaining. I feel so bad for my Kansas City friends that have been practically snowed in last week. I don't wish that weather on anyone :(

I did a little r&r by painting my toes with Julep Maven Jane Bombshell. And got my eye candy on at Target with neon flowers and geometric lunch boxes.

I'm so happy to have worked with Ruche with a blog post and being featured in their dessert cookbook. So I must share with you the awesome dessert free desktop calendar from the Ruche blog.

Eek, this calendar just may stay up all year! TOO CUTE.

One Love Organics giveaway

March is here and it's time for some spring cleaning. Most people think of spring cleaning as putting away winter clothes and making the home bright and cheery. But you need to rid the skin of the dry winter blues to get that summer glow.

I'm so happy that Suzanne at One Love Organics sent me some Brand New Day microderma scrub & masque to try. The soothing organic sweet pea flour and fresh pineapple enzymes, which smells like yummy Sweet Tart candy, polishes off dead skin cells while helping to protect the new ones.

All I do is sprinkle a little in my hand and add a splash of warm water to form a creamy paste. Massage onto damp face and throat using gentle, circular motions. Then remove with warm water. I use it about twice a week and my face is squeaky clean after I use it.

I also tried the clarifying masque. In a small bowl, I mixed 1 teaspoon of Brand New Day with 2 teaspoons of water. Then I added 2 teaspoons of plain Greek yogurt for a luxurious, tightening clarifying masque. Leave on for 15 minutes. The yogurt makes your face smell like a fruity parfait!

The masque was a little runny for me for application. So next time I'll do 1 teaspoon of Brand New Day with 1 teaspoons of water, then 2 teaspoons of plain Greek yogurt. Or if you refrigerate the masque overnight it'll get thicker.

But I really enjoyed the masque. It did dry and tighten at the end of the 15 minutes. I removed it with warm water a face scrub brush to exfoliate. My skin was silky smooth an fresh!
